Kalimpong is a splendid hill station situated close to Darjeeling on the foothills of the Himalayas. The sereneness of the town and natural beauty is captivating. The town is covered with green forests and the tea and orchid gardens. It also gives a glimpse of the British rule in India. Buddhist monasteries, colonial cottages and museums add to the beauty.
