Yuksom – A historic and charming destination for mountaineers and trekkers, main tourist attractions near Yuksom include Tashi-Tenka, Norbugang Park, Dubdi-Gompa, Wodsallin-Gompa and Kanchendzonga National Park.

Namchi - A prosperous market town located on 'Top of the Sky' with two gigantic statues, the Samdruptse and Solophok, Namchi is a very useful transit point which can lead you to Jorethang Town and other lesser known Sikkim villages.

The Siliguri-Bagdogra Airport is the closest access-point with a regular helicopter service to Gangtok. Siliguri and New Jalpaiguri are the nearest railheads with further roadways access through NH-31 and NH-31A.
