Situated at a distance of 11 Kms from Jaipur, Rajasthan, Amber Fort or Amer Fort is a very interesting combination of Hindu and Muslim architecture.

Things to Do & See:

With white marble and red sandstone construction & Lake named 'Maotha' at its forefront, the Amber Fort looks stunning. Superb minute mirror work, lovely paintings of hunting scene showing the courageous, revolutionary guts of Rajput & other excellent delicate work draws the attraction of tourist.

Kali or Shila Devi Temple with its massive silver lions and silver doors, Diwan-I-Aam (Public hall), Jai Mandir (Hall of Victory) with its dazzling mirror work along with other halls, each fo which has its individual identity, form part of the fort.

In Sukh Niwas Palace, one can see the ingenious arrangement of using the natural water flow to get the cool breeze during the hot season. The water image in still water of the Maotha Lake is quite watchable.

Enjoying the perfect beauty of the fort with elephant ride gives a noble experience & that is one of best parts of the attraction.
