Built by Maharaja Narinder Singh, Moti Bagh Palace is a palace in Patiala district in the State of Punjab. It was constructed in 1845. The palace was the prime residence of Patiala Royal families & is one of the largest residences in the world.

Things to Do & see:


The beautiful 'Moti Bagh' Palace is decorated with beautiful sculptures. Constructed in Indo-Saracenic style, the palace has fifteen dining halls. Sheesh Mahal and a beautiful garden around the palace add to the beauty. The Moti Bagh Palace's northern zone is converted to museum which has a variety of antique arts & artifact, paintings, rare manuscripts & royal collection of materials & the eastern zone is converted into National Institute of Sports.
Qila Mubarak, Darbar Hall Museum, Baradari Garden and Kali Temple are few interesting spots to visit nearby.
