
Hari-Ke-Pattan - Punjab
Hari-ke-Pattan, also known as Harike Wetland, in the deep part of Harike Lake (created in 1953) is the biggest wetland in North India in the Ferozepur district of State of Punjab & an important wetland from Punjab. It is produced on the convergence of the Rivers Satluj & Beas. The peaceful green sanctuary is linked with the district of Harike, Amritsar & Ferozepur.
It is declared as a bird sanctuary as it reserves over 200 bird species especially during the winters including Yellow Eyed Pigeon, Cotton Pygmy Goose, Tifted Duck White Winged Tern & many more.
The place is famous for sweet water fish market.
