Duduma Fall is one of the most popular tourist attractions situated on River Machhakunda, Orissa. Duduma waterfall is one of the highest waterfalls in southern India.  Duduma Fall is also known as 'Matsya Tirtha' derived from the nearby pilgrim town of 'Matsya Kunda'.  Machhakund Hydro-Electric Project is being run through the water of this fall. The height of the waterfall is 157 meters which becomes outrageous during monsoon.  

The fall is located on the Eastern Ghats and this place is associated with the name of Sri Chaitanya, who is believed to have visited in the early part of 16th century A.D. This waterfall is flooded with tourist all year round and came into highlight in 1941, when the research began to establish the power plant. It is the horsetail shaped waterfall. There is a town named Onukudelli near the waterfall. The town is situated on hill which is very scenic and hence this waterfall houses indigenous tribe 'Bondas'. Trolley rides are available at the hydel plant.

How to reach:

Bus facility is available from Jeypore and Koraput city. The nearest Airport is at Vishakhapatnam (200 km). Tourists can easily reach the waterfall from Vishakhapatnam through a cab or a bus.
