Bibi Ka maqbara is situated in Aurangbad, Maharashtra, built by Azam Shah, son of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb as a loving tribute to his mother, Rabia Durrani alias Dilras Banu Begum.

Major Attractions:

Bibi ka Maqbara is a poor replica of world famous Taj Mahal and hence it is also known as the "Taj of deccan"or "Dakkhani Taj"  but due to ignorance in architecture & proportions as compared to  Taj Mahal, resulted into a poor replica of Taj Mahal.  Despite of this, one cannot stop appreciating the design & effort taken for this mausoleum. It is a beautiful monument constructed of sandstone and plastered walls. The mausoleum is set in a garden with the mountain ranges on the background. A giant 'U' shaped gap between the hills behind offers the perfect harmony, add the grandeur. The typical Mughal Char-Bagh model increases the beautyof monument & surrounding through its symmetry and first-rate garden layout.

Ajanta & Ellora, Daulabad Fort caves are the other major attractions nearer to this place.
