Raghunath Temple having seven shrines each with its own Shikhara, is one of the largest temple complexes in the North India which is located in Jammu and Kashmir State. This temple was built by Maharaja Gulab Singh and his son Maharaja Ranbir Singh during 1835-1860. It is the most beautiful and splendid temple. The complex has 17 temples. This temple is mainly dedicated to Lord Rama and is situated in the heart of the city (Jammu) on the bank of river Tawi. It has gold plated interiors having many galleries with lakhs of Saligrams. The surrounding temples are dedicated to various God and Goddess connected with the epic Ramayana.

On 30th March 2002, two suicide bombers attacked the temple killing seven persons and injuring 20. Terrorist attack took place on 24th November 2002 when the Hindus were performing Puja in the Temple Complex where two suicide bombers stormed the Temple resulting in the death of 13 devotees and injuries to several devotees.
