Urusvati Museum of Folklore
Urusvati Museum of Folklore is located at Madhram in Shilkopur Village in Gurgaon. The museum is the treasure store of Indian folk stories. Treasured artifacts depicting famed stories that grace the walls of the museum bring to life a forgotten past. The exhibits including precious paintings, sculptures and dioramas offer pleasant reminders of old tales. This museum allows us to understand the lives of the traditional Indian storytellers with various costumes, musical instruments, jewelry and pottery that are displayed here.
There is a souvenir shop which allows us to carry little treasures as a reminder of our pleasant experience. As the museum is on the way to Jaipur, it is easy for tourists to stop for 15 minutes to relax and explore the museum.
A contribution charge of 25/- per person is being charged from the visitors. It has ample parking place.
