Panchkula City
The planned city of Panchkula, located in the Panchkula district of Haryana is one of the leading tourist destinations in north India. Part of the Chandigarh Capital Region, Panchkula as well as Mohali is the two satellite cities of the Union Territory of Chandigarh. Panchkula is renowned for housing the esteemed Chandimandir Cantonment Headquarters of the Indian Army Western Command. The city has been named after the five irrigation canals or panch kuls that supply water from Nada Sahib to Mansa Devi.
