The planned city of Panchkula, located in the Panchkula district of Haryana is one of the leading tourist destinations in north India. Part of the Chandigarh Capital Region, Panchkula as well as Mohali is the two satellite cities of the Union Territory of Chandigarh. Panchkula is renowned for housing the esteemed Chandimandir Cantonment Headquarters of the Indian Army Western Command. The city has been named after the five irrigation canals or panch kuls that supply water from Nada Sahib to Mansa Devi.

Morni, located in the district of Panchkula is a popular hill station in Haryana. The Morni Hills situated at an altitude of 1220 meters above sea level are a part of the Shivalik range of the Himalayas. The scenic hills are blessed with two lakes which are divided by a hill. A hidden channel connects both the lakes as the water level of the two lakes almost remains the same. Locals consider both the lakes to be sacred. An old fort, which is in complete stage of ruins, attracts the interest of the tourists.

Mata Mansa Devi Temple, dedicated to the Hindu goddess Mansa Devi is located in the Panchkula district of the north Indian state of Haryana. It is a famous Hindu Temple is Panchkula, located of the foothills of Shivalik Mountain range in village Bilaspur which is near Mani Majra and Panchkula. The huge temple complex is spread on 100 acres of land. Mansa Devi is considered as a form of Shakti and the temple dedicated to her is regarded as one of the most important North Indian Shakti Temples.
