Gurudwara Nada Sahib is situated on the bank of Ghaghar River in Shivalik foothills in Panchkula District, Haryana. This is a famous religious place of the Sikhs. While travelling to Anandpur Sahib from Paonta Sahib after the battle of Bhangani in 1688, Guru Gobind Singh Ji halted here along with his fellow Sikh warriors. They were given a warm welcome by a follower of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, named Nadu Shah serving them food and milk. The Guru showered blessings on him saying that the Gurudwara would be named after him. This Gurudwara is famous throughout the world. Now it is managed by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee with the support of many devotees.
Around ten thousand devotees visit the Gurudwara on the full moon day (Pooranmashi) of every month. There is a holy flag which flies atop 105 feet (32 m) high on one side of the courtyard. Every day religious gatherings and community meal takes place. Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has constructed a spacious new building along with a huge three storey parking and Langar Hall. Nada Sahib also established a new museum covering Sikh history.
