Baga is a small Goan village, located in the Bardez Taluka between Calangute and Anjuna beach. Baga beach in Goa is just opposite to the village, well known for its brown sands, Baga Creek, crystal clear waters and excellent watersport activities. Baga beach lies at the west coast of Goa, starting from Fort Aguada till Chapora beach and Fort. Baga is located 10 kms away from Mapusa and 18 kms from Goa's capital, Panaji.

Baga is basically a fishing beach, more essentially known for its calm and quite atmosphere, as compared to its Colva and Calangute beaches of Goa. Baga is a small but beautiful beach with brown sand, receives heavy influx of international tourists, seen sun-bathing in its golden sun. This small village is lined with several bars, tandoori terraces and local handicraft shops.
