Lakes in Chhattisgarh

Lakes of Chhattisgarh are a major tourist attractions and serves as important water bodies. Major portion of the state is covered with dense forests and agriculture is the main occupation of majority of the people. The entire tribal district of Bastar in Chhattisgarh is bestowed with numerous natural attractions such as magnificent mountains, beautiful hills, verdant valleys, flowing streams, cascading waterfalls, natural caves, thick forests, striking lakes and dense jungles that supports wide variety of eco-system.
