Jagdalpur Waterfalls
Jagdalpur is a prominent tourist destination in the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh. The city is a municipality and the administrative headquarters of Bastar District and Bastar Division, and was also the capital of the erstwhile princely state of Bastar. The scenic city of Jagdalpur is situated on the banks of the famous Indravati River. The ancient wooden handicrafts of this area in particular are popular amongst both local as well as foreign tourists. Dusserahara Festival of Jagdalpur which lasts for a period of 75 days is one of the most famous festivals in Chhattisgarh. It is not based on the Ramayana, but is entirely based on the Rath Yatra of the King.
