The valleys and areas within and along the sides of the mighty River Brahmaputra and its tributaries deliver substantial ground for the growth and development of a variety of flora and fauna. Eventually this grand water-source literally dissecting through the northeastern Indian State of Assam marks these regions as a rich well-stocked source of a variety of wildlife. Assam is home to several wildlife sanctuaries including the famous Kaziranga National Park, Nameri National Park along the border with Arunachal Pradesh, Manas National Park, the Orang National Park, & the Dibru-Saikhowa National Park which is one of the nineteen bio-diversity hotspots in the world. Eco-Camps, Eco-Lodges and Wildlife Resorts therefore become all the more important, necessary and sensible to develop along such a scenario. |
