Nizams Museum Purani Haveli Hyderabad
The Nizams Museum, located in Hyderabad at Purani Haveli showcases a fabulous collection of gifts which were received by Osman Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VII on the occasion of his silver jubilee celebrations in 1936. It is one of the finest museums in Hyderabad featuring a breathtaking collection of antiques, souvenirs, gifts and mementos presented by important dignitaries and guests to the last Nizam of Hyderabad.

Visitors get stunned while having a glance at the vast collections including models made out of silver of all the important landmark buildings of Hyderabad as well as a golden wooden throne used by the Nizam during the last silver jubilee celebration. The beautifully crafted glass inlay painting of Nizam Osman Ali Khan along with a wooden writing box studded with diamonds as well as gold-studded daggers, caskets, and silver perfume containers are some of the major tourist attractions at the Nizams Museum in Hyderabad.

Tourists interested in vintage cars are in for a treat as they get to admire the stunning collection of cars of the Nizam including a 1930 Rolls-Royce, a Jaguar Mark V, and a Packard. The museum also houses the large wardrobe of the sixth Nizam, a 150 year old manually-operated lift, and 200-year-old proclamation drums.  The museum was thrown open to general public on February 18, 2000 by the Nizam Trust.
