Grand Festivals in Andhra Pradesh

Each and every festival in India is celebrated with religious fervor and gaiety. Due to religious diversities in India every event and festival is celebrated on a grand scale. The festivals of Andhra Pradesh reflect the culture and heritage of the state and are as diverse as its people. Most of the events are arranged by the people while some of them are arranged by the state. Andhra Pradesh festivals and events attract millions of tourists and devotees every year. These events have contributed towards overall increase in travel and tourism in Andhra Pradesh. Some of the important events and festivals in Andhra Pradesh include Deccan Festival, Lumbini Festival, Visakha Utsav, Tirupati Festival and Rayalaseema Food and Dance Festival. Tirupati is one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in South India. Large numbers of Vaishnava festivals are being celebrated on a grand scale in the city. Off these festivals, Tirupati Tirumala Brahmotsavam is the most important festival of Andhra Pradesh.
